Mother of a Movement
Definitely check out the interview with Ruth Messinger. She's been one of the most passionate and tireless voices on Darfur for two years now. This issue would not be on the national agenda without her. Even as I write this, she is leading a delegation of religious leaders and members of Congress to protest at the Sudanese Embassy in Washington and allow themselves to be arrested in an act of civil disobedience.

And Darfur is on the national agenda. I was speaking in Chicago last night, where there's a great buzz. A large contingent of Chicagoans is coming to Washington for Sunday's rally. But then there's going to be another rally in Chicago on Monday -- 4:30 pm at Federal Plaza. Here's a complete rundown of rallies across the nation.
